Thoughts from September 25

     Dear reader,

Mom and I (and Dad when he can) have been going on hikes again this month!!! It's soooo nice!

On the last day of summer, Mom and I went for a hike -- hot, muggy weather.

On the first day of fall, Mom and I went for a hike -- 68ยบ!

     Here are some photos:

I hope you have a very happy Sabbath!

Thoughts from May 22

      Dear readers,

Just wanted to say my cousin, Mom, Dad, and I went for a hike this morning to see the sunrise. I got up at 5:45 (earlier than my normal) which I enjoyed very much as I am naturally an early bird. We grabbed our stuff and drove to the trail system on one of the ridges nearby our home. Gorgeous sunrise! Sabbath morning. God is so good. Hour - twenty - five minute hike. The temp was fabulous (it is now in the 80's and 90's degrees F in the day, so morning is the way to go for me!). Saw two little adorable frogs (or toads, not sure which :D ). The golden sun. Time with family. Fresh air.

     Good stuff! Things that matter.

Exciting stuff happening in my life like these hikes, and music concerts, I might post about some of it sometime. Also, more garden pics are lined up whenever I get around to sharing.

More I could write, and maybe I will later today or another day.

Stay close to God and follow Him!

Have a wonderful Sabbath day and following week.

And take a moment to especially enjoy His handiwork in the universe. You don't have far to look!

"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Eph. 2:10, NLT

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Gen. 1:1, NLT

"In the beginning the Word already existed.

    The Word was with God,
and the Word was God." John 1:1, NLT

"For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith." 1 John 5:4, NLT

Thoughts from May 1: Lots and lots of photos!

      Dear reader,

Happy May! Can you believe this is the fifth month of 2021?

Well, I haven't posted since February, so I have a couple of months' worth of photos I'd like to share. Since I have so many, I will divide them by topic and post them in multiple blog posts. Let's start off with photos I've taken on hikes Mom, Dad, and I have been taking on the trail system near our house. These photos are in order taken, from early/mid-March to mid-April. Some of these may be mis-identified, but I put what Google Lens said they were.

We write with ink or with graphite, God writes with flowers.

I surely enjoy these bits of God's artwork, and I hope you have too! More pictures coming in future posts (I think I might have two or three more)! :D
